POLICE are on the hunt for a man who crashed his vehicle into another car, then ran off leaving the other injured driver trapped at the scene.

The crash, which resulted in a 49-year-old Bathurst man airlifted to Sydney with serious injuries from the site occurred at 7.40am at the intersection of Hereford Street and Marsden Lane, near the Trinity Heights shops.
Inspector Lionel White said police are making enquiries into the situation, but said police believe the driver who ran from the scene had outstanding conviction warrants against him.
Police continue to asking people to avoid the area, with a crime scene established.
9.10am:
A 50-YEAR-OLD man has been airlifted to hospital following an accident this morning.
The accident occurred at 7.40am on the corner of Marsden Lane and Hereford Street.
Police, Fire, SES and NSW Ambulance are on the scene.
The helicopter landed near the scene, after the man was trapped in the vehicle for some time.
Traffic is moving at the intersection however police are asking people to avoid the area.
