The Keppel Street store was among 18 local businesses who dressed up their windows to celebrate the inaugural Illuminate Bathurst Winter Festival.
When Bathurst Regional Council put out a call for businesses to take inspiration from the festival and light up their store windows, owners Dave Curry and Michael Hope knew they wanted to take part.
The duo teamed up with local filmmaker John Moran to create three separate digital projections that ran in a loop each night during the festival.
"Michael and Dave have done a tremendous job and joined in the spirit of the bicentenary by lighting up their store," Bathurst Regional Council mayor Gary Rush said yesterday.
He said that while there were some other good entries, The Naked Bud's entry "stood out" from the beginning.
Yesterday he presented the duo with their prize a $500 Bathurst Buy Local gift card.
Mr Hope said the win was unexpected, and he was very pleased.
"It was important for us to be a part of it [Illuminate Bathurst Winter Festival] and I think the festival has a great future," he said.
Mr Curry said they wanted to be proactive in celebrating Bathurst's bicentenary and that is why they decided to create the digital projections with the help of Mr Moran.
