A MAN has been charged following investigations into an incident that occurred in Orange at the weekend.

Police will allege about 2.30am on Saturday a 21-year-old man returned to his Myora Place home, passing a vehicle parked in a nearby driveway.
The vehicle had five people inside, all known to him and allegedly talking loudly. The man asked them to be quiet.
It’s alleged the front passenger got out of the vehicle and struck him across the chest with a firearm before pointing it at him.
The group left the premises without further incident.
Police were called and an investigation was commenced.
About 12.40pm on Sunday police arrested a 39-year-old man while he was walking on Spring Street.
He was taken to Orange Police Station where he was charged with armed with intent, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intimidation.
He was refused bail and will next appear in Orange Local Court on Monday, October 12.
