Bathurst branch of the National Trust vice-chair Pauline Barker said the judges, who come from Sydney, were impressed with the quality of the entries.
Awards will be presented during a special event at the Flannery Centre on Saturday.
Drinks and finger food will be served from 6pm to 7pm, followed by the presentation of the awards.
“We are looking forward to the awards being presented to a group of people who are passionate about our built and cultural heritage and enthusiastic about their projects,” Ms Barker said.
“It is also an opportunity to recognise the work of many people in the Bathurst community who staged the magnificent events during our Bicentennial Week in May.”
Tickets for the awards night are available from the Bathurst Visitor Information Centre and all are invited to attend.
Bathurst branch chairman Iain McPherson said the Bathurst bicentenary has enabled the community to focus on the city’s rich heritage as Australia’s oldest inland European settlement.
“The Bathurst Bicentenary National Trust Heritage Awards are an opportunity to say thank you to the many people who do things to protect, enhance and promote our irreplaceable heritage assets which have come from our past but are part of our future,” Mr McPherson said.
