WHAT: Getting It Down: a collection of memories book launch.
"If you have ever wondered about the story behind the person sitting next to you on a bus this is a book for you," convenor James McBryde said.
"These stories will evoke your own memories of times gone by. Some will make you laugh and others will make you cry."
Copies of the book will be available at the launch and through Books Plus in Howick Street, for $20 per copy.

WHAT: Kelso High School annual trivia night.
This event helps to raise money for improvements to the school. The school is aiming to build a covered walkway from the bus bay for wet weather.
First prize will be $400 and there will be lots of other prizes to follow.
Hans Stroeve would like to hear from those who can help out through sponsorship.

WHAT: Kim Deacon 'Home Sweet Home'
This is the final in this year's BRAG Winter concerts.
Kim Deacon's passionate musical and dramatic performance introduces us to the goldmining town of Hill End, where Kim lives and where the largest gold nugget in the Southern hemisphere was found and to the neighbouring town of Gulgong where young poet Henry Lawson was growing up.
Kim has set 10 Lawson poems to music, and accompanying herself on harp, banjo, guitar and piano, along with a spirited narrative, archival footage and soundscape, takes us on a journey encountering the sweet sorrows from this tumultuous time, a fascinating era from Goldrush to Federation.
This is a special fundraising initiative of BRAGS.
Tickets $75 BRAGS Members & Concession / $90 Non-members. Tickets include refreshments.

WHAT: Imagine Me.
These are digital workshops for people with spinal cord injuries.
The Imagine Me series are free rural workshops held around NSW.
Learn adaptive and modified photography and photo editing techniques.
The Workshops run daily for two weeks until September 11.
