The annual HSC visual arts and photography exhibition gives the outgoing students the opportunity to showcase the pieces they have put hours of effort into for assessment.
Visual arts teacher Billy Taylor said the event was a perfect way for senior students to share their creations with family and friends.
“There are some truly wonderful works that have been created this year and a total diverse range of styles and techniques,” he said.
The works that have been developed are not just visually appealing, but also explore complex ideas and themes.
One student has examined the different social and cultural aspects of Bathurst, while another has examined what it means to be an Australian.
Other works include an illustrated story, political material and 3D stereoscopic photographs of Bathurst ex-servicemen. Also on show will be the Year 12 photography and digital media students’ major projects.
Members of the community are encouraged to attend the exhibition and help celebrate the students’ hard work.
The exhibition will be held in the Movement Studio from 6pm to 7.30pm.
