Jd Campbell, 20, of Stewart Street in Bathurst appeared in person and unrepresented before magistrate Michael Allen in Bathurst Local Court.

The court heard that on the evening of September 13 Campbell arrived at the house at around 9pm having been at the football drinking. The victim was at home in her bed.

Campbell walked into the bedroom and then began jumping on the bed. Due to his level of intoxication, the victim told him to get off the bed and leave the room.

He then started to yell at the victim, before punching the light pendant, causing the light bulb to smash.

He also swung his fist at the wall, leaving a hole and a blood mark. Campbell then punched the opposite wall causing a second hole.

Grabbing the front door he swung it hard, causing it to hit the wall and causing another hole.

Police were called and they spoke to the accused, who was heavily intoxicated and slurring his words.

He told the police: “Yeah I did it, I punch everything.”

He also told police he had drunk “everything and anything” during the day.

Mr Allen dealt with the matter by way of a Section 10 bond, placing Campbell on a bond for 12 months.
