The smash hit international troupe, which is midway through its regional tour of NSW, will perform at the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre.
Circus Oz has developed the new show, called But Wait ... There’s More, which premiered in Melbourne under the Big Top in 2014.
With new acts, satirical humour and signature Circus Oz style, touring show director Debra Batton says the show is a crowd-pleaser.
She said Circus Oz is far removed from a traditional circus and includes no animals.
The show is performed within a large-scale set inspired by an abandoned theatre in tatters.
An extensive casting process was undertaken across Australia’s vibrant circus community to search for new recruits for But Wait ... There’s More.
“With so many new artists joining our ensemble, we were excited about the explosion of ideas and creativity that emerged through the collaborative process,” Circus Oz artistic director Mike Finch said.
Ms Batton said the performance appeals to a wide audience range.
“I’ll hear squeals of laughter from the kids and at other times I hear deep belly-laughs from adults,” she said.
Circus Oz features a mix of stunt-jumping acrobatics, cutting-edge juggling, virtuosic unicycling, elegant flying trapeze, cheeky impersonations and knockabout and multi-skilled performers.
