Trans-Pacific fare war looms as Qantas, American Airlines boost flights

Australians' appetite for travel to the United States might dip slightly due to the weak dollar, but they are more likely to cut spending on hotels or tourist attractions than decide against flying across the Pacific, Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce says.
