Held over the weekend of October 31 and November 1, the annual event included 11 magnificently presented open gardens.
Visitors came from far and wide for the event which its organisers say was a “bloomin’ success”, raising record funds.
Anne Llewellyn, who is the Spring Spectacular co-ordinator, said more than 1000 visitors took advantage of the open garden weekend.
“This year we have been able to present $22,000 to Daffodil Cottage Extension Fund, $1200 to the Mitchell Conservatorium for a scholarship and $1000 to the 2BS Lions Christmas Miracle Appeal,” she said.
“The committee would like to thank all the volunteers from the Bathurst Gardeners’ Club for their help.
“They acted as guides on the buses as well as checking entry tickets at the 11 open gardens.
“I must say all the owners of the open gardens had their properties in immaculate condition, which reflected wonderfully on Bathurst in this, our bicentenary year.”
