They are promising something for all the family during a fun afternoon on the oval adjacent to the jail.
The Pink Stumps Day will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Tuesday, February 9, and there will be cricket matches for adults and children.
Co-ordinator Luke Abbott said there will also be raffles, a fundraising auction, barbecue and music to add to the atmosphere.
Mr Abbott said people can buy a wristband for $10 and this will entitle them to a cold drink, a barbecue dinner and plenty of fun with a cricket bat.
Bathurst businesses have been donating prizes for the raffles and the auction.
One of the special items to go under the hammer will be a mini cricket bat signed by Shane Watson.
Mr Abbott said organisers would really welcome contributions to both the auction and raffles from local businesses or individuals.
Anyone who has something to donate can contact Mr Abbott at the Bathurst Correctional Centre on 6338 3212.
All members of the community are invited to attend the afternoon.
Pink Stumps Day is a McGrath Foundation community cricket initiative.
A spokesperson said that until there is a cure for breast cancer, the McGrath Foundation is committed to providing as much support as it can for families facing a breast cancer experience.
The foundation does this through its funding of McGrath breast care nurses nationally and by increasing breast awareness in young Australians.
