Staff have been busy in recently taking stock from the old shop on Bentinck Street to the new store next to Masters.
Store manager Michael Puzicha said the move had gone smoothly and the team was looking forward to welcoming customers to the new site today.
The move had been under consideration for a long time, according to Mr Puzicha, who explained that they wanted more space to accommodate their vast range of products on offer for customers.
“The store is a bigger, brighter, more shoppable experience for our customers,” he said.
Project manager Wendy Wilson, who oversaw the relocation, added that customers would be more satisfied with the new-look store, which aims to make shopping a more pleasurable experience.
“It will be a lot better for the customers as the store will make more sense, be more visible and accessible,” she said.
The store [layout] will have an official grand opening on Wednesday, and feature massive sales across a range of products.
“We’ve got a few things planned,” Mr Puzicha said.
“We’ve got a live radio feed happening, face painting and lots of specials in store.”
There is up to 50 per cent off on some curtains and blinds, 30 per cent off the entire range of yarn, rugs under $100, and great savings on a selection of sewing machines and so much more.
The store will be open from 8am to 9pm.
