Shoufay Derz's elegant, philosophically and psychologically complex installation of sculpture, video and photography has developed from the artist's participation in the Hill End Artist in Residence Program in 2015. Absence, abandonment, emptiness and loss - and ways to make such abstract concepts visible - are a focus of the artist's practice. A Hill End Artists in Residence Program exhibition in conjunction with Artereal Gallery. This project has been assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory body.

What: Motorkhana.
Bathurst light car club hosting. Free entry for spectators. The motorkhana is a timed event conducted over a prescribed course on flat ground through a series of cones and bollards. It's is designed and focused on introducing people, as young as 12 to come and join the club and get involved in learning car handling skills in a controlled environment.

There is to be a community drum workshop in Bathurst at the PCYC this April. Run by CareWest Ability Links & Welch's Fun, they put together the DrumsCommunity Drum Project Facilitator Workshop. This great event is completing free of cost and comes with morning tea. The Community Drum Project is a great new initiative which provides people of all abilities and backgrounds the opportunity to connect and play together. The Community Drums are available for loan by community groups, organisations and services in and around Bathurst.
