Bathurst RSL 114 Rankin Street 1.30pm. Since 1977 Bathurst RSL Sub Branch has received donations of service-related memorabilia from the Boer War to Afghanistand. Through a guided tour explore the items on display and learn about their relationship to the people who owned them and to Bathurst itself. The tour lasts 90 minutes and is free. Crocodile Day.
Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum 224 Howick Street 10am-4pm. At the wild animal encounter reptiles of the world display, meet the SuperCroc an see live crocodiles, pythons, alligators and lizards. Ironfest is imagineering with a metal & clothing focus:

Esses Descent. The Esse Mount Panorama. 9am-4.30pm. Brought to you by the Bathurst Light Car Club. The Esses Descent will see competitors racing against the clock down through the Esses from Brock Skyline to Conrod Straight. Connections to Trunkey Creek. Meet at Trunkey Creek rest area on Arthur Street, Trunkey Creek 1pm. Located 56km ssouth of Bathurst Trunkey Creek is steeped in history and has had a few name changes. With a diverse history ranging from the gold rush of 1868 to bushrangers roaming the area, there are many stories to be told. Bathurst District Historical Society Monthly Muster.
Uniting Church Hall William Street at 7.30pm. This months Muster features Andrew Fletcher - "World War 1 - A Statistical look at Bathurst Contribution". Andrew has for some time been working on those volunteers from Bathurst and district during the Great War when local young men volunteered to serve on the Western Front in France and Belgium as well as Gallipoli and the Middle East.
