As auditions go, The Night Manager (BBC First, Sundays, 8.30pm) is a fairly long one. At roughly six hours in length it's more than enough time to conclude that Tom Hiddleston - that guy who plays Loki in the Marvel films - has more than enough mettle to play James Bond. Heck, he had us shaken and a little stirred before the opening titles had finished playing.
