In the first incident, a female cyclist was hit just before 8.30am as she rode around the Piper and Rankin streets roundabout on her way to work.
Acting Inspector Lionel White said the 52-year-old woman driving the Mazda which hit the woman was issued with an infringement notice for failing to give way.
Inspector White said the driver hit the rear of the bike, throwing the rider into the ground. She was taken to Bathurst Base Hospital with minor injuries.
This afternoon, a student was struck by a vehicle outside Bathurst High School.
The female student only suffered minor injuries, however, the incident prompted a reminder from police for motorists to stick to the 40km/hr speed limit, obey parking laws and be mindful of the large numbers of students spilling out onto the streets.
Students should also exercise caution when crossing roads and not cross from between buses or large vehicles, police said.
