12:30PM FRIDAY: An 18-month-old boy hit by a reversing car in the grounds of a Bathurst school on Thursday evening remains in a serious but stable condition in a Sydney hospital.

Police said the boy suffered head injuries after being struck by the car in a car park at All Saints' College.
The boy was at the school with his father who was picking up other children after school, but managed to step away from his father as they reached their car.
Police said the boy was hit by a white Commodore wagon that was moving only slowly at the time of the accident.
The boy was airlifted to The Children's Hospital, Westmead about 6pm on Thursday and remained in a serious but stable condition on Friday morning.
A police investigation is continuing.
7.40PM THURSDAY: Police have issued a further statement in relation to the boy struck by a car at All Saints' College on Thursday evening.
A spokesperson said the child had been hit by a reversing Holden Commodore wagon about 5pm.
The child's age has been amended to 18 months.
"The child was treated at the scene by ambulance paramedics before being airlifted to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead with serious injuries," the spokesperson said.
"The driver of the Commodore, a 38-year-old woman, was taken to Bathurst Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
"A crime scene has been established and investigations are continuing."

EARLIER: A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy is being flown to a Sydney hospital after being hit by a reversing car on Thursday evening.
Inspector Gerard Powell from the Chifley Local Area Command said the boy was hit shortly before 5pm on the grounds of All Saints' College.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene and treated the boy until an air ambulance arrived.
The helicopter landed on the college's Junior School oval about 5.40pm to take the child to The Children's Hospital, Westmead.
Inspector Powell said it was too early to determine the boy's condition but confirmed he had suffered a head injury.
Police have launched an investigation.
