Third-placed Villages United will start as unbackable favourites against the winless Lithgow Giants this weekend, having beaten Wallerawang and come within a couple of points of upstaging Blackheath in their two most recent outings.
CSU Yellow will be without a game once more as they have the bye, though it comes at a handy time given the university holidays.
This weekend will mark the third in a row that the Mungoes have not taken to the field, after their match two weeks ago was postponed.
"If we don't get that game caught up it will have an effect. It was our only game against the Giants this year so splitting the points would hurt us compared to the teams who play and beat them twice," CSU president Brad Wright said.
