The under 16s team trained together at Bathurst last weekend in preparation for the Kilsyth competition.
The team also includes Orange’s Annie Miller and Western Reds representative Olivia Barber.
“I think Matilda and Annie Miller from Orange are going to be great finds at this competition. Matilda’s got a great chance to prove herself here. There’s not many who can do what she can on the court at her age,” Masters said.
“We’ve drawn a very tough pool with both of last year’s grand finalists South Australia Metro and Queensland South. We have Victoria Country as well which is always a hard game.”
Masters has been at the helm of the team for the past three seasons but has stepped down to the assistant role this year, giving the lead spot to Wendy Brown.
