From Perth to Auckland. From Port Moresby to Melbourne and even Bathurst, Frontier Comedy is proud to announce Rugby League The Musical - The National Tour.

Denis Carnahan’s hilarious look at rugby league is coming to the Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre (BMEC) for the one show only on July 27.

Described as “original, clever, witty… do not miss it… hilarious” by former Dragons and Eels star Steve Edge, the show features singer/satirist Carnahan who celebrates the greatest game of all in a way you’ve never seen before.

The audience is treated to a dynamic live interactive musical video cabaret burlesque with a bombastic blend of original songs and classic rock/pop parodies.

Carnahan came to most prominence through his viral and ever-updating  State Of Origin hit song, That’s In Queensland.

And he’s written many other songs for ABC Grandstand, Fire-Up! On FBi, Triple M’s Grill Team, Fox Sports and The Footy Show.

After cracking runs at the Sydney Comedy Festival and Sydney Fringe Comedy, Carnahan is now taking the 2016 version of the show on the road.

He says it features bigger hits, more grunt, new songs, more villains, more off field dramas, and some big name off season signings.

“Rugby league is filled with larger than life characters, melodrama, villains, farce, betrayals, controversies and pantomime,” Carnahan said.
