The northern market indicator finished on 1333c/kg down 8c/kg, the medium merinos lost around 25c/kg, the fine XBs lost 30c/kg and the broader XBs lost 15c/kg.
The indicator finished the year 125c/kg higher than last year.
The highest point in the market was August last year and the bottom was in October with the difference between the two ends being 135c/kg.
The XB wools lost the most ground thoughout the season, with the 28 microns currently running at 777c/kg after peaking last August at 929c/kg.
Sales resume on the week beginning August 8 and by all accounts the new selling season looks promising
The next wool report will be Wednesday, August 17.
