The 11-metre replica of the largest known crocodilian to ever roam the earth, which has been on exhibition since December, has been so popular that its stay has been extended until September 19.
The museum’s public programs officer Penny Packham says SuperCroc’s appeal is obvious. “He's big and scary,” she said.
The museum is also gearing up to host a Prehistoric Preschool this Friday at 11am for children five years and under, featuring hands-on activities and story sessions.
Ms Packham said the preschool is designed with the young learner in mind.
The guided activity session costs $7 per preschool child, which includes entry for one adult.
