LLOYDS Road has now reopened after floodwaters subsided.
Bathurst Regional Council has advised however a number of roads remain closed including Hereford Street at the low level bridge due to floodwaters and debris across the roadway.
Also, Ophir Road is closed with water across causeway near Abercrombie House.
Freemantle Road remains also closed due to water over the bridge across Macquarie River.

A NUMBER of roads have been impacted by water, Bathurst Regional Council’s road report has revealed.
Hereford Street remains closed at the low level bridge due to floodwaters and debris across the roadway.
Ophir Road is closed with water across causeway around two kilometres from Bathurst.
Freemantle Road is also closed due to water over the bridge across Macquarie River.
Llyods Road is closed between Gorman’s Hill and Vale roads.
Vale Road has now been opened.

THE low level Gordon Edgell Bridge at Bathurst remains covered by waters from the swollen Macquarie River.
It is currently covered by debris and the road is closed to all traffic.

THE Hereford Street low level bridge in Bathurst remains closed due to flooding.
In addition, the Vale Road, between Lloyds Road and Hen and Chicken Lane, is also closed.
The Macquarie River at Bathurst peaked at 3.9 metres at 4.30am on Thursday.

A NUMBER of roads are closed across Bathurst due to floodwaters.
The low level bridge on Hereford Street was closed around 8.30pm on Wednesday.
Also, the Vale Road, between Lloyds Road and Hen and Chicken Lane, is also closed.
RTA Live Traffic’s website advises motorists can use the Mid Western Highway as an alternate route around the floodwaters.

A FLOOD warning has been issued for the Macquarie River at Bathurst.
The Bureau of Meteorology warning says rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Bathurst late Wednesday night.
Bathurst’s low-level bridge on Hereford Street has just been closed due to the rising level of the Macquarie River.
The Bureau added that further rises are possible and the situation is being closely monitored and revised predictions will be issued if necessary.
The Macquarie River at Bathurst is expected to exceed the minor flood level of three metres at around midnight on Wednesday.
On Thursday morning, the river could reach four metres with minor flooding predicted.
