A score of 75 off the stick enabled Bob Pardey and Darryn Bruce to win the scratch.
Low scores in Thursday’s A grade Stableford after Paul Abbott’s 37 points accounted for Bob Dillon by a single stroke.
Roger Bremner (35) rounded out third and the scratch went to visiting young gun Scott Matheson on 31 points.
Robert Booth played a different course to the rest of the folk as attested by his 41 points to win B grade by two shots over a gallant Neil Adams.
Cameron Jackson continued his recent run of stellar golf, posting 38 points and third place, the scratch has gone the way of Andre Schuster with 17 points.
Booth completed the daily double as he combined well with Richard Lesh for 44pts and the 2BBB win by one stroke over Steve Dodd and Noel Ross.
One under par was the best scratch score from David Lilly and Darryn Bruce.
Don Finlayson was crowned the champion golfer on Sunday thanks to a fine 41pts, Josh Toole (38) and Dee McCarthy (36) rounded out the minor placings.
