The sight of muddy water cascading across the road is a striking reminder of Mother Nature’s power – and also her danger.
A caller to Parade on Thursday wanted to remind sightseers to be wary when they’re down by the river and also to keep an eye on their dogs.
Our caller said she counted three tiger snakes among the flood debris and a second reader even captured a photo on his phone to illustrate the danger.
It’s enough to ssssend a sssshiver down your sssspine.
Time to reignite an old Romance
IT'S time for Parade to dig out her black clothing and Converse shoes.
Back in the day, Parade was an avid My Chemical Romance fan and dressed to depict such.
It was a dark day when the band called it quits in 2013, but on Thursday things started to look up.
The band posted a cryptic video online hinting something big would happen on September 23.
It's worth noting that the last song released by MCR was called Fake Your Death. Maybe the guys did just that.
Parade will have to wait and see, and she's quietly confident a few other Bathurstians will be doing the same.
