A competition for players aged 35 and above, Bathurst has entered six teams for this year’s edition of the Hockey NSW Masters Championships.
Unlike 2015 when Bathurst hosted all the teams from across this state, this time games have been split into South (Taree) and North (Moorebank) titles.
Bathurst is known for their sporting spirit, but they are also expected to produce some quality hockey across the three days of competition which starts on Friday.
Bathurst will field teams in the 35s division one, five (two teams) and six competitions, plus 40s division two and 55s division one.
Bathurst’s contingent includes two players recently selected in NSW representative teams – Wendy Hastings and Sandra Hamer – plus state shadows Ruth Clements and Karen Crowley.
