A MAN will face court next month after a Bathurst woman was allegedly defrauded of $6500.

It is alleged the man offered to undertake roof repairs on the elderly woman's house and she paid him $6500.
The work was not carried out.
A member of the public called police to Havannah Street about 2pm on Wednesday where they spoke to a 26-year-old man.
He was arrested and taken to Bathurst police station.
The 26-year-old Liverpool man was charged with three counts of dishonestly obtaining a financial advantage by deception.
He was granted conditional bail to appear in Bathurst Local Court on Monday, August 22.
The man has also been charged in relation to similar offences in the Taree area in August 2015.
