They spoke of their desire to rectify that by being stronger at both ends of the field, but Giants coach Mark Kennedy had another idea of how his men could rise up the ladder.
Beat Orange this Saturday.
“The guys said we’ve got to look at our percentages now because we are back to the bottom of the table. I said let’s forget about getting our percentages up, let’s just beat Orange and that will take care of it, we’ll be one game up,” Kennedy said.
The Giants are currently in a battle with Young to avoid the wooden spoon.
Ahead of them the Orange Tigers are eight points outside the top four, so a win for them at Bloomfield Oval on Saturday will be just as important.
“Orange, they are not out of it. It’s all pretty close, so you can’t discount them yet,” Kennedy said.
