Like a number of teams in this year’s one-tier senior competition, Young are a more imposing unit when they do not have to travel given the other commitments of their players.
Outlaws coach Brett Archer is not sure who the Saints will field against them this Saturday, but the Bushrangers outfit will be the hot favourites.
Twice already this year the Outlaws have beaten Young by amassing triple figure scores, while they boast 48 competition points compared to the Saints’ four.
“They absolutely struggle away from home, they are probably the worst travellers to be honest,” Archer said.
“At home they can be really competitive, it’s the away games where they struggle.”
Opening bounce at George Park 2 is at 2.30pm.
