Since they were crowned champions last year, Panthers are yet to taste defeat in 2016. The only side to take points off them thus far is Parkes, who drew 2-all in round two.
With a defence that has leaked just seven goals in 14 matches, the question is – can anyone stop Panthers?
According to St Pat’s coach Chris Conroy, the answer is yes. His side were defeated 4-1 by Panthers last Saturday, but were missing the experienced striker Kristy Ekert.
“We held with them, we didn’t push up on them when they were transferring it around, we held our centre, shuffled across which was good and I think it shocked them a bit,” he said.
“They just travel that quick, it’s bang-bang and in the circle, so we have just got to be stronger on our passes and hold onto the ball more.”
