Missing Persons Week begins on Sunday and is a time for those families to once again hope that someone comes forward.
Jessica Small, Janine Vaughan and Andrew Russell are all missing from Bathurst and every day their families hold onto hope they will find out what happened to them.
The family of Janine Vaughan, who was last seen alive on December 7, 2001, will never give up looking and regularly appeal for information about what happened to their sister.
While it’s almost 15 years since Janine was taken, her sister Kylie said they are still desperate to hear from anyone with information about what happened.
Kylie asked anyone with information to email it through to vaughan_kylie71201@yahoo.com.au.
Police also want to hear from anyone who can solve the mystery.
The Homicide Squad's Unsolved Homicide Team is continuing to investigate Janine’s disappearance under Strike Force Toko II and encourage anyone with information that may assist with their inquiries to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Likewise, the family of missing Bathurst man Andrew Russell never give up hope, that one day someone will come forward and tell them where Andrew’s remains are so they can lay him to rest.
“I don’t think people understand how hard it is. Not a day goes by that we don’t think of Andrew,” his step-mother Sue Wallace said.
Ms Wallace said she is certain there are people in Bathurst who know where Mr Russell’s body can be found.
For the family of Jessica Small, abducted in October 1997 finding answers for her family has been an ongoing fight, and 19-years on, they are still hoping that one day Jess can be brought home.
Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Acting Superintendent Grant Taylor, said Homicide Squad investigations into Jessica’s disappearance are continuing.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
