Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak presented a cheque to headspace with funds from the Blayney to Bathurst cycling event.
headspace Bathurst has one of the highest rate of access by young people for education and vocation support.
Headspace program manager Nicki Halliwell said the orgnaisation was fortunate to have partner organisations like the Rotary Club of Bathurst Daybreak on board.
She said their ongoing support enabled headspace to help local students overcome barriers to their education.
“We have had a growing number of students being referred to us from local schools in the last year and expect 2017 to be no different,” she said.
The hYLITE program, which opened in Bathurst in 2013, offers mentoring and support to young people who are struggling with school work.
