Pairing of Terry Staines and Gerry McCormick both fired 72 nett. 88 off the stick was good enough for Kevin Burke to win the scratch.
Visitor Justin Thrift enjoyed Bathurst Golf Club by the way of a solid 68 nett to win A grade from Lance Williams (69) and Brad Molenkamp (70), the consistent Phil Campbell shot 76 to win the scratch.
C grade, was Steve Dury who fired 66 nett to hold off Scott Wilson by one shot, Todd Jenkins rounded out third courtesy of 67 nett and the scratch went to Robert Mitchell on 90.
A three way tie at Thursday’s A grade as Al Edwards, Chris Warry and Todd McMahon all had 39 points. The scratch king Darryn Bruce added another title after a nice round of two over par.
B grade, David Gates and Andrew Short both had 38 points, Gates was eventually declared the victor. Don Finlayson returned a steady 36 points for third and the scratch is in the hands of Mark ‘knockers’ Naylor with 21 points.
Edwards and Gates completed the daily double to win the 2BBB aggregate with 77 points. Bruce and David Lilly combined to win the scratch on 61 points.
Young Ben Mackey has continued on his winning ways of late, emerging as the premier golfer on Sunday courtesy of 37 points and a countback win over Paul Brown, Dave Sams snuck in for third position.
