Out of the Dark: A Family Violence Support Program for Women will start at the Central West Women’s Health Centre. The free six-week program for female victims of family violence will be run by facilitators from Bathurst’s Family Violence Awareness Group.
The program will be held on August 17, 24 and 31 and September 7, 14 and 21 from 10.30am-1pm. Morning tea and lunch will be provided (courtesy of the CWA).

Members of the public are invited to take part in sustainability community group discussions for academic research and 'real world' outcomes. The discussions will be held on Thursday, August 25 at the CSU library from 5.30pm-6.30pm and Saturday, August 27 at the CSU Library from 3pm-4pm. Contact Dr Andrea Crampton (acrampton@csu.edu.au or 02 6933 4032) to register. No specialist experience or knowledge is required, but participants must be over 18. Participants will be eligible to win gift cards.
