While Molong takes on Trangie in the northern version of the Central West Rugby Union’s second division competition this Saturday.
So should we see the winners of both premierships play-off in a Super Bowl like clash to round out the season?
Blayney’s Brock Syphers says why not – in an ideal world, of course.
“But who gets to host it? Travel is the other killer,” he said.
“Lets say Trangie win and Coota or Temora beat us ... its a four hour drive and just too far.”
There’s always a flip side though.
“If Molong win and we get the win it would be different story,” he laughed.
“Theres a healthy rivalry there and I’m sure both teams would want bragging rights … just a shame Tommy Evans isn't still lacing the boots.”
