- A 19-YEAR-OLD Bathurst man was due in court on Wednesday to face a string of charges. Bathurst police charged the teenager with offences including aggravated break and enter, stealing and stealing a motor vehicle. He was also charged over an outstanding warrant for breaching bail. Officers attached to Chifley local area command arrested the man at a house in West Bathurst on Tuesday afternoon. He was refused bail to appear in Bathurst Local Court on Wednesday.
- POLICE have reminded people to be vigilant after three people lost their backpacks while training on an oval at Charles Sturt University. The backpacks contained personal items including mobile phones.
- THIEVES have stolen a number of items from an unlocked Honda Civic parked outside a Furness Street home. The stolen items included navigation equipment, one charger, an eTag and a multitool kit. The incident occurred some time between 5pm on Monday and 7am on Tuesday.
