Traditionally the dinner is held at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Cente (BMEC), however this year the event is moving to Bathurst Showground.
Bathurst Business Chamber president Stacey Whittaker said the Beau Brown Pavilion will host the majority of the event on September 9, but other parts of the showground will also be featured.
“We’re also using the middle pavillion, which connects to the Beau Brown Pavillion, as our entertainment precinct,” she said.
The second pavilion will be used for live performances, a dance floor, photo booth, bar and coffee lounge.
The lawn will also be used on the night, weather permitting.
“On arrival there will be drinks and canapes on the lawn and entertainment,” Ms Whittaker said.
Guests on the night will then be treated to a formal three-course meal prepared by Piper Catering.
People can also purchase raffle tickets on the night, with the money raised going to support the Family Violence Awareness Project.
Ms Whittaker said there are only 450 tickets available for the gala dinner and more than 160 have already been sold.
“This year we’ve had more people accept their nominations and last year [the dinner] was a sell-out, so I encourage people if they’re thinking of coming, don’t wait to get your tickets because there won’t be any more released,” she said.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.carillonbusinessawards.com by clicking on the gala dinner tab.
There are individual tickets available for $120 per person or groups can purchase a table of 10.
The gala dinner will start at 6.30pm.
This year’s business awards include 16 categories that recognise individual staff and overall businesses.
Judging is currently underway by a panel of judges who are independent from the Bathurst Business Chamber.
Members of the public can also cast their votes in the People’s Choice Award – Employee of the Year and People’s Choice Award – Favourite Business categories.
Voting can be done online via the awards website until August 26.
