A GIANT Peter Rabbit was the main attraction at this year’s Book Week celebrations at Bathurst Regional Library, with children of all ages taking the opportunity to meet the children’s book character.

Peter Rabbit has made visits to the library as part of its Book Week storytime sessions, where children got the chance to listen to the adventures of Peter Rabbit as well enjoying books chosen from the 2016 Children’s Book Council.
Emma Colvin took her one-year-old son Otto along to meet Peter Rabbit during storytime at the library.
“He absolutely loves Peter Rabbit and was very impressed when he saw him,” she said.
Storytime is on again on Friday from 11am until noon and from 3.45pm until 4.30pm.
