Bathurst Legacy will have volunteer students from the six senior Bathurst high schools selling badges, pens and wristbands in the CBD between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Friday for Legacy Badge Day.
“They will be easily identifiable and we ask the public to be generous to the cause of Legacy and respectful to the students donating their time to support Legacy,” a spokesperson said.
Legatees will also be selling merchandise at various busy locations throughout the city and neighbourhood shopping centres.
A group of Legatees will also visit the local hotels between 5pm and 6.30pm on Friday.
“Legacy is a great cause and the citizens of Bathurst have a longstanding reputation of being very generous,” the spokesperson said.
