The Aces N Sevens x Plain Georgie gelding will make his 80th career start in the Group 1 Feeds Pace (2,260 metres).
Katsidis has made three starts this preparation, the best of which being a third place at Dubbo.
The gelding will search for a 13th career victory.
”He’s just on the way back up. He’s had a couple of runs now and his fitness is just starting to get there. He’ll run an honest race,” Hewitt said.
“He had a short campaign last prep in Melbourne. He ran well in his first start there where he ran a good third but he didn’t fire after that. He’s back now and we’re trying to get him back up to the level he was at before.”
Wednesday night’s eight race meeting starts from 5.03pm.
