Their ‘Come And Try’ day will be held at 10am on Sunday, September 25 at Chifley Dam, Bathurst.
Dragon boating is a sport that caters for social paddling and also competitive members who want to compete at regattas.
A total of 22 people can fit in the long dragon boats, including a drummer at the front and a sweep at the back to steer the boat.
Due to a lot of fundraising and state government grants, the Pan Dragons now have their own boat, trailer and shed for storage.
Participants must be aged 12 years or over, no experience is required and equipment is supplied.
Wear clothes that can get wet and bring a drink bottle, hat and sunscreen.
