The minor premiership-winning Bathurst Giants outfit was the first to qualify for the decider with a win over Bushrangers in the major semi-final.
But having finished the regular season in second spot, the Bushrangers had another chance to qualify.
The side took it, defeating Young 8-12-60 to 2-3-15 at George Park 2 on Saturday.
A strong opening term effort set up the win, Bushrangers booting five goals two while restricting Young to a single behind.
At half-time the Bushrangers led 6-5-41 to 1-2-8, and from there the Bathurst side went on to win by 45 points.
Michael Long (two), Josh Coyte, Luke Rothnie, Jake Lynch, Lachlan Coyte, Pat Lemmich and Ricky Webb all kicked goals for the Bushrangers.
This Saturday’s grand final will be played at Cowra.
