Neither of the accused, both aged 50, appeared before magistrate Michael Allen, with their legal representatives telling the court it was not necessary for either men to be called up via the audio visual link (AVL).
The men cannot be identified due to legal reasons.
The accused men, including the alleged victim’s father, were arrested in Ivanhoe, Victoria in July and extradited to Sydney on July 7.
The matter initially appeared before Waverley Court and then Central Local Court on July 12, before being adjourned to Bathurst Local Court on Monday.
The alleged victim’s father has been charged with two counts of sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years and the production, possession and sharing of child pornography.
His partner has been charged with sexual intercourse with a person under 10 years, as well as further child porn-related offences and use of a child under 14 years to make child abuse material.
It's alleged the men travelled to look after the baby for three hours on April 19, 2015 at a home near Bathurst while her mother was at a training course.
Unknown to her, the men allegedly sexually abused the 10-month-old and allegedly took photos of her that they later uploaded to their computers.
Mr Allen adjourned the matter to November 14, when both men will appear via AVL.
