Books Plus invites the community to Kim Kelly’s launch of her new novel Jewel Sea on Wednesday, September 21 at 6pm for 6.30pm at the Royal Society Café, Royal Hotel Building, 108 William Street. A trivia fun night will be held on Friday, September 16 at Holy Trinity Church Hall, Gilmour Street, Kelso to raise funds for the ministry of St Barnabas Parish. Cost: $15pp, tables of eight. Hot finger food will be served, and it will be an alcohol-free event. Doors will open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. No door sales. Tickets are available through Books Plus in Howick Street. There will be door and novelty prizes and live music provided by Vic Mally and his honky tonk piano.
