Lithgow booked themselves a meeting with the CSU Stags in this weekend's grand final after striker Todd Costello netted inside the final 15 minutes at Proctor Park.
Panorama’s main goal-scoring threat Jacob Soetens was shown a red card for his reaction to a Lithgow challenge in the 35th minute but his team were able to keep the visitors at bay for some time.
The hosts were still managed to create several chances while being a man down.
Eventually Workmans found a scrappy goal from close range to take themselves to the decider.
“Nikki Spice at the back was brilliant for us. Ryan Ellis in goals had a great game. After Jacob was sent off Jye Fleischmann ran his heart out up front and Tony Clancy played in the midfield,” Panorama captain Beau Yates said.
"I couldn't be more proud of the boys to come from where we were last year to where we've got to this season. It's fantastic.
"We'll return next year with the same roster and I've been around other teams looking to see if we can get a few more players. We're building well for the future."
