Since beating Bathurst Panthers in the 2015 grand final, the Saints have dropped just two games on the way to giving themselves a chance to defend their crown.
Sunday marks the fourth time that St Pat’s – who also clinched Group 10’s inaugural league tag premiership – will play on grand final day.
Given the constantly improving standard of the competition and the changes in the Saints’ line-up, it has been an impressive season thus far.
"We lost girls like Olivia Patterson, Brigid Rhynehart and Harriet Messner from last year and they were probably three of our better players. But we have been lucky enough to pick up a fair bit of talent as well,” Pat’s coach Mick Armstrong said.
"Hopefully we can go back-to-back. The girls deserve to be there because they have put in a huge effort.”
The grand final starts at 9.30am at Wade Park.
