McCorkindale has been impressive in the three starts he’s had for the Cobras to start this season and has playing a big part in helping his team to second place on the table.
The centre currently averages double figures for both points (10) and rebounds (13.3) per game.
Prior to the team’s recent bye McCorkindale was unavailable, along with several other team members, for the match against Glebe Magic which left his side with not a single bench player available.
The team still managed to prevail in a tight 84-81 win to keep their undefeated start intact.
McCorkindale then made his return to the team last Saturday for their game against SBI.
His team showed what they are capable of with more hands on deck in a crushing 117-67 victory.
Cobras currently sit in second place on the ladder behind imposing newcomers Western Sydney Vikings who have been led by former Australian and NBL point guard Steve Markovic.
Markovic has turned heads with his start to the season as he currently sits on 24.3 points per game and boasts 9.3 assists per game.
The clash between the Cobras and Vikings will be one of the most highly-anticipated games this season, taking place on October 15.
This Saturday the Cobras will be big favourites to keep their undefeated streak intact when they take on the struggling Central Bulls outfit.
