Back for its 13th year, the annual Bathurst and District Relay for Life raises funds for the Cancer Council’s research, prevention and support services.
The overnight event may still be months away, but organisers are encouraging people to register early.
“We are reinvigorating and refreshing Relay For Life in response to feedback from previous participants,” volunteer organising committee chair Zoe Bagnall said.
“Expect to see something new, expect to be entertained, expect to be able to relax. We intend for your next relay to be your best so far.”

Anyone interested in finding out more about next year’s Relay for Life is encouraged to come to the launch this Saturday at the Bathurst Farmers’ Market at Bathurst Showground from 8am until noon.
“Come down to the farmers markets … chat to the volunteer organising committee about all the exciting things planned for 2017,” Ms Bagnall said.
The Bathurst Relay for Life will be held March 11-12 at All Saints’ College. Register to relay at the markets this Saturday or online at www.relayforlife.org.au.
