Chloe Brasier broke the deadlock when she scored during the opening half, and in a tough, wet game of soccer that’s the way the score would remain until full-time.
It was a closely fought battle in the slow conditions and a well-earned victory for the Bathurst girls.
They played a great passing game and the girls played really well as a team.

The result adds to a great year for the under 12s team who also claimed their Western Youth League division crown and finished runners-up in the Country Cup.
“Chloe’s only nine and it was her first ever goal for Bathurst,” coach Andrew Speed said.
“It was a hard game because it was so wet. We were lucky that it wasn’t one of the later games because it go even more wet as the day went on.
“They played a great passing game and the girls played really well as a team. Charlotte Steele was phenomenal at the back and everything started from her playing it out.”
There’s little time to rest for the Bathurst team who play in the round of 16 at East Bankstown this Sunday.
