Hindsight: Has ABC's The Code been derailed?

Is The Code broken? The second series of the ABC's contemporary thriller, which has moved to Thursday nights after a strongly received debut on Sunday evenings in 2014, has shed viewers over the first half of its current six-episode run. Last week the metropolitan audience was down to 353,000, well below the 564,000 who watched the drama's original finale two years ago, derailing what was a possible franchise for the national broadcaster.
